Job summary

The DAVIS Companies in Wilmington, MA seeks an Assembler 1 on 2nd shift to assemble and test units in the Sensor Department. This role involves electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly, including wiring, soldering, and testing in a cleanroom environment.

Shift is 2:30pm–11pm, Monday to Friday. Pay is $22/hr plus a 10% shift differential, totaling $22/hr with differential. 0–1 year experience preferred; Windows familiarity helpful; attention to detail essential.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of job-related work experience.
• Experience with Windows-based computers is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Make set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products.
• Work in a cleanroom environment to ensure quality standards are met.
