Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Electronics Assembler to work on second shift in West Melbourne, FL. The role involves assembling, testing, programming, and packing circuit board assemblies under supervision, following established procedures, and maintaining quality standards.

You will inspect work for accuracy, use hand and pneumatic tools, and collaborate with a team in a safety-focused environment. Prior PCB assembly exposure and basic electronics knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic electronic component assembly skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and IPC standards is a plus.
  • ESD training is required or preferred.
  • Ability to read procedures, visual aids, and drawings.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, program, and pack circuit board assemblies under supervision.
  • Follow detailed assembly procedures and visual aids for quality workmanship.
  • Inspect placements for accuracy and completeness; report defects.
  • Pre-form component leads, wash PCBs, and perform pack-out operations as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Participate in Quality meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $16.50 per hour plus 10% shift differentialShift:2nd shift, 3:30pm to 12am Monday thru Friday

What’s a typical day as Electronics Assembler? You’ll be:
  • Assembling, testing, programming, and packing a variety of circuit board assemblies under the guidance of the Production Supervisor
  • Following detailed assembly procedures and visual aid instructions to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Inspecting your work for placement accuracy and completeness, and identifying/reporting defective components
  • Pre-forming component leads, washing printed circuit boards, and performing pack out operations as required
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in your work area
  • Participating in Quality team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent education (required)
  • Are a US Person as defined in 22 CRF Part 120.15 (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or amnesty recipient)
  • Possess basic electronic component assembly skills and knowledge of component identification/nomenclature (preferred)
  • Are familiar with ISO9001 and IPC Standards and have ESD training
  • Can use various hand tools and pneumatic tools (e.g., pliers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers/wrenches, screwdrivers)
  • Are able to read and interpret procedures, visual aids, and mechanical/electrical drawings
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills
  • Have basic computer, problem solving, and workstation skills
  • Thrive in a high-volume, dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Are willing to work flexible hours as necessary
