Job summary

Randstad USA in Setauket, NY is seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler to join our production team. You will perform assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical products, read drawings and work instructions, and use hand tools safely and accurately to build subassemblies.

This role requires 2 years of experience, no degree required, and is on the First shift (6:45 AM–3:30 PM). Salary ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical products, components, and subassemblies
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, diagrams, and production documentation
• Complete wiring, cable assembly, crimping, fastening, and basic hand assembly tasks
• Use hand tools, small power tools, and production equipment safely and accurately
• Inspect parts and finished assemblies for quality, accuracy, and workmanship
• Support soldering, rework, and repair tasks as needed based on experience
• Maintain accuracy while working with small parts, hardware, and electronic components
• Document completed work and report any issues, defects, or missing materials
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet daily goals
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and aligned with safety standards
