Job summary

hudsonmanpower is seeking an experienced Electronics and Hardware Test Engineer for onsite roles in Wilmington, NC / Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years in validation engineering with expertise in hardware testing and automation.

Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with testing instruments and a solid understanding of test planning and methodologies. This long-term position is W2 only.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Validation Engineer.
• Experience writing test plans and understanding SysRS.
• Hands-on experience with testing instruments.

Responsibilities

• Write test plans and document test results.
• Execute automation testing and debugging.
• Test hardware components, especially input/output modules.

Requirements

• 5+ years as Validation Engineer
• Experience writing test plans, understanding SysRS, working on FMEA, bug life cycle, documentation, automation testing, system testing
• Proven track record executing at least one project covering all above points
• Hands‑on with instruments such as function generator, voltage source, oscilloscope, DMM, etc.
• AC up to 230 V
• DC up to 250 V
• Good to have knowledge of AGILE methodologies

Work Experience

• 5+ years as Validation Engineer
• Hardware testing experience, especially on input/output modules or packs
• Must have Visual Studio knowledge, executing automation tests and debugging skills
• Skills: C#, relevant tools
