Veolia is seeking a Warehouse Associate at the Allentown facility to support electronic waste recycling operations, including unloading trucks, sorting materials, and operating forklifts. The role requires adherence to tight safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Good mechanical ability.
• Must be able to read/write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous waste, including identification, labeling, storage, and management according to regulations and safety requirements.
• Handle waste batteries and electronics for recycling: identify, label, sort and store.
• Unload trucks and stage equipment for processing.
• Document operations in logs.
• Operate forklift, lifting mechanisms, drum dumpers, drum and pallet jacks.
• Maintain reliable, regular attendance to meet business needs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Work safely following company policies to prevent injuries.
