Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an E-Waste Facility Technician to handle loading/unloading, dismantling electronics, and preparing shipments. You'll manage inventory, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure safe waste storage in a new facility.

Shift is 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with OT and Saturdays as needed. HS diploma or equivalent required; Excel/Word skills and basic truck operations preferred. Health benefits after 30 days and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Use of hand tools and mechanical aptitude required.
• Experience with E-waste preferred but not required.
• Experience with Excel, Word.
• 1+ years of related labor and computer experience preferred.
• Ability to drive trucks within facility; forklift skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload route trucks.
• Dismantle electronic waste to prepare for recycling.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center.
• Manage inventory order and receiving process.
• General housekeeping and keep a clean work area.
• Ensure waste is stored in a safe and proper manner.

Clean Harbors located in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking to add E-Waste Facility Technicians to the team . The Technicians will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes loading / unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage.

This position is going to be working in our new E-waste facility dealing with electronic waste disposal and dismantling, computers etc.

Shift: 7:00am- 3:30pm; Day shift, Mon-Fri. OT and Saturdays as needed.

Pay: $21/HR
