Job summary

SAIC in the United States (Crane area) seeks an Electronic Warfare Engineer to provide systems engineering support for EW platforms. You will translate complex designs and test data into precise government-facing documentation, develop ICDs, data flows, SOPs, and TDPs, and collaborate with SMEs across teams.

The role requires 2 years of relevant experience, strong technical writing, and the ability to manage documentation with CM practices while ensuring security guidelines compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or communications field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or T&E.
• Strong technical writing ability with engineering documentation experience.
• Ability to translate source data into polished deliverables.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for EW systems, subsystems, hardware, and software.
• Develop system requirements, allocation, traceability, and design analyses.
• Create ICDs, data flows, and interface documentation.
• Translate technical data into clear government-facing docs.
• Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and TDPs.
• Coordinate with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
• Review manuals and training materials for accuracy.
• Support test planning, execution, and data review.
• Maintain TDPs and configuration-managed docs.
• Deliver technical briefings and program reviews.
