Job Overview
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking an Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Engineer at its Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) organization in Warner Robins, GA. The role requires on‑site, daily work in a fast‑paced, technically diverse environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform hands‑on testing of an EW system Operational Flight Program (OFP) in development environments and system integration labs.
- Support planning working groups and participate in live test events.
- Generate and update system and sub‑system level specifications, ensure verification traceability, develop test plans, perform analysis of test results, and prepare comprehensive reports.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate Systems Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
- Systems Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited school with 2 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with no experience in Electronic Warfare systems.
- Software testing experience.
- Basic understanding of RF principles and radar waveforms.
- Experience with deriving system requirements and developing test plans and procedures.
- Start of employment contingent upon obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running RF lab test equipment, including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and EW‑specific analysis tools.
- Software experience in Ada, C‑type languages.
- Knowledgeable in Agile software development methodology.
- Experience leading test efforts and organizing test teams.
- Experience in performing aircraft functional test.
Salary Range
- Associate level: $65,800.00 – $98,800.00.
- Systems Engineer level: $79,300.00 – $118,900.00.
