Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks an Electronic Warfare Specialist to join our EW Advanced Development Group in Laurel, MD. This role focuses on advancing next-gen EW concepts and transitioning research into acquisition programs.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in related fields, demonstrate strong collaboration and communication, and can pursue interim secret security clearance with the goal of Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and sponsors
  • Demonstrated initiative and curiosity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility for Interim Secret clearance by start date and ability to obtain Top Secret; U.S. citizenship required
