Job summary

Leidos Defense, based at the Huntsville, AL campus, seeks an Electronic Warfare Integrator to drive the technical direction for a multi-phase USAF EW and radar program. You will lead cross-functional teams across system design, software, and hardware integration, with emphasis on real-time EW software and test

Responsibilities include system-level debugging, deployment, testing, and ensuring DevSecOps practices. A Secret/TS clearance is preferred; US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in a related field with relevant experience.
• Experience testing or integrating systems across multiple technical domains.
• Experience with operating containerized Linux software and deploying to air-gapped systems.
• Strong problem solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

This position is based at Leidos' main campus in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will partner with executive leadership, program managers, chief engineers, and cross-functional teams to:

Integrate across multiple engineering disciplines covering thearchitecture, design, and development of advanced electronic warfare systems, including RF sensing, signal processing, and countermeasure capabilities

Provide technical leadership across the full software lifecycle, ensuring alignment with mission requirements, performance constraints, and system integration needs

Specificallyoperateand execute critical testing ofreal-time, high-performance software supporting EW and radar platforms, including embedded and distributed systems.

Physically deploy radar systems, boot test software, execute open air experiments, report on the efficacy of those experiments, and drive technical recommendations and solutions for how to improve the systems

Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, includingDevSecOps, automated testing,andconfiguration management

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with2-4years of relevant experience orMaster'swith1-3years.

Experience testing or integrating systems across multiple technical domains

Experience withoperatingcontainerizedLinuxsoftwareand deploying software to air-gapped systems

Problem solving mindset that covers multiple technical domains with a focus on delivering products

Strong organizational and communication skills

Must be a U.S. citizen

Must be able to obtain a Secret andTop Secretsecurity clearance

Residein or willingness torelocateto the Huntsville, AL area

Preferred Qualifications.

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

Strong background in EW concepts, such as electronic attack, electronic protection, and electronic support

Experience with system engineering, verification processes, test planning, and execution

Experience operating systems at government test ranges

Demonstrated experience developing electronic warfare, RF systems, or radar software in a team-based environment

Deepexpertisein electronic warfare systems andarchitectures

Solid foundation in modern software engineering practices, including CI/CDand test-driven development

Proficiencyin C++ and object-oriented design, with experience in performance-critical applications

Experience with GPU acceleration (CUDA), MATLAB, or advanced algorithm development

Familiarity with FPGA development (VHDL/Verilog) and hardware/software integration

Experience leading teams and building high-performance engineering organizations

Prior experience supporting U.S. Air Force or DoD EW programs

Active Secret orTop Secretsecurity clearance
