Job summary

TAPCO is seeking an Electronic Test Technician II to design and implement test solutions, troubleshoot electronic systems, and validate product performance across development, validation, and manufacturing.

The role collaborates with engineering and production to meet quality, reliability, safety, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement; requires an Associate degree and 3+ years in electronics testing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field.
• At least 3 years in electronics testing or related environment.
• Experience with test systems, validation, and manufacturing support.
• Ability to document procedures and provide engineering reports.

Responsibilities

• Design and support electronic test systems and fixtures for validation.
• Lead engineering validation testing for new/existing products.
• Coordinate production floor activities to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop and improve work instructions and test protocols.
• Calibrate and maintain instruments and test equipment.
• Troubleshoot electronics and identify root causes.
• Analyze test data to support decisions and improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and validation documentation.
• Develop software/hardware tools to automate testing.
• Support production final test and process improvements.
• Assist with FCC and regulatory testing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness.
