Job Description

Join our technical team supporting the testing, troubleshooting, repair, and production acceptance of advanced aviation electronics, navigation aids (NAVAIDS), surveillance radios, and other high-reliability electronic systems.

The Electronic Test Technician uses sophisticated electronic test equipment to evaluate digital, analog, and RF circuits from the component level through complete systems. This position is responsible for identifying failures, determining root cause, performing component-level repairs and rework, and verifying that repaired products meet established production and customer acceptance criteria.

This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone with experience in RF electronics, avionics, electronics test, troubleshooting, or component-level repair who enjoys solving complex technical problems in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift Flexibility

Our production environment operates across multiple shifts, and candidates with open availability to work any assigned shift are strongly preferred. The ability to support different shifts, overtime, or schedule adjustments based on production and program needs is highly valued.

Key ResponsibilitiesTesting & Troubleshooting
  • Perform electrical and electronic testing on components, circuit boards, subassemblies, assemblies, modules, and complete systems.
  • Test digital, analog, and RF circuits from the component level through the top system level.
  • Perform pre-tests, production acceptance tests, final acceptance tests, and other testing required by product and customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electronic units that fail production acceptance testing and determine the root cause of failures.
  • Diagnose failures down to the component level using schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, work orders, and technical documentation.
  • Perform component-level repair and rework to eliminate identified failure causes.
  • Retest repaired units to verify they meet established production acceptance criteria.
  • Determine the appropriate repair path based on troubleshooting results, component/BOM costs, and production requirements, working with Supervisors and Engineering when units should be repaired, reworked, or scrapped.
  • Verify that systems and sub-systems meet applicable industry, engineering, and customer specifications.
  • Interface with Engineering and Production teams to identify recurring failures, improve product reliability, and resolve technical issues.

  • Network Analyzers
  • Signal Generators, including vector, pulse, and function generators
  • Peak and average power meters
  • Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) test equipment
  • Other specialized electronic test hardware and software
Production & Documentation
  • Review BOMs, work orders, wiring charts, engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, test procedures, and other technical documentation before beginning work.
  • Follow established test procedures for NAVAIDS, surveillance radios, and other aviation electronic products.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of testing, troubleshooting, repairs, rework, and final test results.
  • Ensure test equipment and workstations are properly configured, maintained, and ready for use.
