Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Test Equipment Group Technician to develop, maintain, and improve automated test equipment used in manufacturing. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical fundamentals with hands-on soldering, wiring, and building electronic equipment experience.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience soldering, wiring, and building electronic equipment.
• Familiarity with test and measurement equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQs).
• Ability to create/read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and implement custom test equipment including radio mesh networks, harnesses, control panels, and automated test systems.
• Create and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD tools.
• Generate and maintain complete documentation, including schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and calibration requirements.
