Job summary

Advanced IT Concepts, LLC seeks an Electronic Technician Maintenance II to support the WTRS contract at Fort Novosel, AL. You will maintain and repair electronic training devices such as BAT, TFPS, LCT, CEPT, and other simulators, applying manuals and schematics to diagnose issues.

The role requires 3rd shift, full-time, hourly pay of $45.67, and the ability to travel to other installations. Candidates should have engineering/IT background and hands-on hardware/software experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in a relevant field with related experience; or 6+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Valid driver’s license and on-post driving privileges.
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electronic WTRS equipment for UH-60M, CH-47F, AH-64D and other simulators.
• Use spare/repair parts to address faults and perform preventative maintenance.
• Research and select necessary repair parts.
• Enter work orders accurately and timely into the online management information system.
• Apply technical knowledge to solve electrical, mechanical, and computer issues using manuals and schematics.
• Perform inventory of spare/repair parts per contractual guidelines.
• Ensure all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide technical support and training to system operators.
• Travel to other installations and WTRS locations as required.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Electronic Technician Maintenance II provides technical support to multiple devices under the Warfighter Training & Readiness Solutions (WTRS) Contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• The Electronics Technician Maintenance II position will perform all functions required to Maintain and repair electronic WTRS and equipment for UH-60M Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer (BAT), CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS), AH-64D Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT), UH-60M Cockpit Emergency Procedures Trainer (CEPT), AH-64D Modernized-Target Acquisition/Designation Sight (TADS) Selected Task Trainer-L13 (M-TSTT-L13), CH-47F Cockpit procedural Trainer (CPT), Flight Training Device (FTD), UH-60M COCKPIT ACADEMIC PROCEDURAL TOOL (CAPT), Universal Mission Simulator (UMS), 2 Seat Shadow,UH-60 A/L Black Hawk Flight Simulator Upgrade (ABHFS)
• Utilize spare/repair parts to address faults and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with technical guidelines.
• Research and select necessary repair parts.
• Enter work order data accurately and timely into the online management information system.
• Apply technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting manufacturers' manuals and schematic drawings.
• Perform inventory of spare/repair parts in accordance with contractual guidelines.
• Ensure all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide technical support and training to system operators.
• Other duties as assigned.
• This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS Locations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology and 1 years of experience, Or 6+ Years of Experience in lieu of Degree
• Intermediate computer and networking skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and On-Post driving privileges
• Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

• Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Experience utilizing test equipment to include: torque wrenches, volt/micrometers, network cable crimping/testers and solder stations to support repairs
