Qualifications

• Assembly Operator Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and reassemble products per procedures.
• Test and troubleshoot server appliances to the sub-assembly level.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues and identify root causes.
• Analyze incoming RMAs to determine failure mechanisms.
• Verify products are configured according to BOM and process sheets.
• Work with Windows, Linux, BIOS, firmware during troubleshooting.
• Track testing, repairs, and analysis using internal systems and Excel.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering with issue resolution and process documentation.
• Follow proper ESD procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Lift servers in and out of testing racks throughout the shift.
• Meet production and product delivery requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Required as needed
Job Type: Temporary, currently projected through Q4
Start Date: ASAP upon completion of required pre-employment screening

We are currently hiring Electronic Technician I candidates for a temporary opportunity in Plano, TX. This position will support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of server equipment and related electronic systems.

Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet for most of the shift, including frequent walking and lifting servers in and out of testing racks.
