Job summary

Daifuku Airport America Corporation in Boyne City, MI is seeking an Electronic Technician to perform in-house testing, troubleshoot complex production equipment, and support design improvements. Starting wage is $23.95 per hour with full benefits and overtime per labor agreement.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience preferred; 1–2 years hands-on electrical/mechanical experience; ability to read blueprints and schematics;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years hands-on electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
• Associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to interpret drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house testing of company products.
• Troubleshoot complex or troublesome production equipment.
• Suggest design changes or improvements in production methods.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and perform repairs as required.
• Align and adjust electrical equipment per specifications.
• Operate standard testing/processing equipment of moderate complexity.
• Comply with process and documentation requirements.
• Participate in the company quality process.
