- Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs and control panels
- Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and technical documentation
- Support troubleshooting of electrical faults and assist in root cause analysis
- Participate in scheduled maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability
- Learn to use diagnostic tools and software for monitoring system performance.
- Follow all applicable safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and NFPA 70E, to ensure a safe working environment
- Consistently apply Vallourec’s internal safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and electrical safety practices
- Participate in JHA discussions to identify potential risks and implement appropriate controls before starting any task
- Properly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for each task
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area to prevent accidents and support operational efficiency
- Attend regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and updates to safety policies
- Accurately record all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs and replacements
- Offer feedback on training materials and processes to help improve the apprenticeship program and support continuous learning
- All other duties as assigned
Key Responsibilities

Experience, Skills, And Knowledge
- Strong verbal, written and analytical skills
- Ability to understand and execute written and verbal instructions
- Strong interest in electrical systems and industrial technology
- Basic math, reading and mechanical reasoning skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools, multimeters and basic electrical concepts.
Education, Training, And Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a pre-apprenticeship or vocational training program

Work Environment
