Qualifications

  • Level 3 requires a High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of related experience or education.
  • Level 4 requires a High School diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of related experience or education.
  • Knowledge of electronics and electrical theory.
  • LOTO protocols knowledge.
  • Fire alarm system knowledge.
  • HVAC, hydraulics & pneumatics, CNC equipment knowledge are pluses.

Responsibilities

  • Use troubleshooting skills to fix equipment and act with urgency.

As a Electronic Systems Technician – Level 3 or 4 located in Promontory, UT, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.As an electronic systems technician, you will be responsible for responding to corrective maintenance work orders and supporting the Promontory facility plant wide. You will be working on a variety of electronic and electrical equipment, from handheld electronic devices to large-scale automated processes and CNC equipment, often in high-stress, time-critical situations. We support mix/cast buildings, lab buildings, X-ray, and machine shops. In addition to supporting production, we support plant-wide water systems, fire alarm systems, radios, and various other systems. You will communicate directly with operations to ensure their equipment is working as required, and you will often work alongside other crafts to get repairs done in a timely manner.In this job, you will:Respond to corrective maintenance work orders input through Maximo.Use troubleshooting skills to fix equipment. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
