Job summary

Qualifications

• Broad training in electrical/electronics, usually via technical school or equivalent experience.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 2 years of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures.
• Supports and follows SQF guidelines for food safety.
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment; investigates incidents as required.
• Maintains electrical equipment such as gas mixers, burners, de-ionized water units, air compressors, plant lighting.
• Troubleshoots, adjusts, repairs, and programs VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, motors and other electrical equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems and equipment.
• Identifies inefficiencies and coordinates with supervisor to resolve.
• Assists in design, experimentation, and installation of plant equipment or electrical production procedures.
