Job summary

Mpd-Inc in Owensboro, KY seeks an Electronics Technician to assemble, diagnose, and repair electronics, read manuals, and install equipment. You will perform routine servicing and inspections, assist with upgrades, and report progress to the supervisor on production goals.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, strong troubleshooting ability, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
  • Analog and Digital Electronics experience.
  • Strong verbal/interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment.
  • Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems.
  • Sourcing or fabricating replacement parts for electronic systems.
  • Ensuring all power and manual tools are operated safely.
  • Coordinating with supervisors and team members to discuss work schedules, time, and material needs.
  • Providing training for new technicians and apprentices.
  • Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment.
  • Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties.

Job description

The electronics technician responsibilities include assembling, diagnosing, and repairing electronics, reading manuals and installing equipment, performing routine servicing and inspections, assisting and electronic upgrades, and reporting to the supervisor on production goals.
