V2X Electronic Technician Job Description

V2X is growing! We are seeking an Electronic Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform technical tasks in production/repair test environment, including testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
2. Assist in developing procedures and utilize engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and documentation.
3. Select, set up, and operate electronic and scientific test equipment such as DITMCO, CRALTS, CATS, CIRRUS, multimeters, meggers, Huntron Tracker, and digital volt meters.
4. Analyze test data, report findings, and make repairs or adjustments as necessary.
5. Perform troubleshooting on analog, digital, and high voltage circuits.
6. Write clear comments in the S4 tracking system regarding test failures and rework tasks.
7. Interact professionally with Engineering, Operations Excellence, and MDO personnel.
8. Maintain an organized work area and prioritize workload using PSL reports.
9. Support various programs and provide cable troubleshooting support.
10. Participate in training to enhance skills and ensure calibration of equipment.
11. Work well under pressure and provide training as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting or equivalent military experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills:

• Component-level troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) technology.
• Ability to document work clearly in electronic tracking systems.
