Job Title: Electronic Technician

Reporting To: Manager, Product Test

Work Schedule: Onsite - Blacksburg, VA

Our team in Space & Defense is looking for an Electronic Technician to join them. You will report to the Product Test Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.

To be considered for the Electronic Technician role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• A Two-year Associate degree in Electronics or related field (military education / experience will be considered)

As an Electronic Technician, you will:

• Correctly store, clean, and maintain tools and equipment; verify calibration dates/seals.
• Thoroughly complete data sheets/test reports for parts tested.
• Perform qualification, acceptance, or special tests.
• Develop trouble‑shooting procedures.
• Maintain working knowledge of logic circuitry.
• Learn how to use new types of test equipment and test systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Load and maintain software for ATE.
• Help train / cross‑train others.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range Transparency: Blacksburg, VA $18.05–$22.00 Hourly
