Job Description 2nd Shift Position

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

General maintenance of plant electrical and electronic equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
2. Must be able to read, write, and understand written schedules and instructions.
3. Must have at least two years of electronic-related education or a minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance work experience.
4. The electronic technician may not have a fear of heights or high voltage and cannot be blind.
5. Must have a forklift license or be capable of passing the forklift driver's examination.
6. Must be able to pass a test to determine qualifications.
7. Must score 70 or above on the qualifications test. (There will be a two-week waiting period before retesting.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain proper housekeeping in the Electrical Maintenance area.
2. Perform preventive maintenance work orders as assigned.
3. Perform maintenance work orders as assigned.
4. Order, stock, and maintain the maintenance repair parts inventory.
5. Adhere to all plant safety rules and procedures.
