Job summary

ABB is seeking an Electronic Technician to join our team. The role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving issues with machinery, electronic equipment, and automation systems.

Candidates should have PLC programming knowledge and be able to perform programming routines within standardized structures. The position requires an Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Automation, or related field, plus experience with PLCs, automation, or robotics.

  • Perform day-to-day electronics, general electric, and pneumatic repairs for manufacturing equipment.
  • Support test equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic PC boards.
  • Calibrate electronic instrumentation and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electronic equipment.

The candidate must have experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), automation processes, and robotics. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues with machinery, electronic equipment, and automation systems. The technician should have knowledge or experience in PLC programming, be capable of performing programming routines, and adhere to standardized programming structure rules.
