Job summary

Textron internships offer hands-on experience in assembly, inspection, and test instruction development at Textron Systems. You will identify efficiency opportunities and contribute to root-cause analysis while gaining mentorship from seasoned professionals.

The program is a paid, 10-week summer internship designed for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, with emphasis on teamwork, independence, and security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communications/interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Developing repeatable and reproducible assembly, inspection, and test instructions.
• Identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Conducing technician training and certification.
• Leading effective root cause and corrective action activities both internally and with our suppliers.
