Job summary

Inova Staffing's client seeks a dependable Electronics Sorter for a climate-controlled facility in Phoenix. You will identify, sort, and prepare electronics for processing, refurbishment, or shipping, with attention to safety and accuracy.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:15 PM, with occasional overtime and weekly pay. Basic IT hardware knowledge and reliable attendance are valued as you learn and grow in a stable warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, sort, and prepare electronic equipment for processing, refurbishment, recycling, or shipment.
• Sort incoming equipment by product type and processing area.
• Identify common IT hardware including laptops, desktops, servers, network equipment, monitors, and peripherals.
• Inspect materials and organize into boxes, pallets, or containers.
• Lift, move, stage, and load electronic materials safely.
• Record basic product, inventory, and shipment information in internal systems.
• Maintain organized workstations and clearly labeled material areas.
• Follow safety, quality, and handling procedures for electronic equipment.
• Work independently and communicate with supervisors and teammates.

Job description

Inova Staffing is seeking reliable, motivated individuals to join our client’s team in electronic-device recycling and refurbishment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a basic understanding of IT hardware, and wants to grow in a stable, climate-controlled workplace.

Position Details

• Pay: $18.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM–3:15 PM, with occasional overtime
• Pay frequency: Weekly
• Work environment: Climate-controlled facility

Responsibilities

• As an Electronics Sorter, you will help receive, identify, sort, and prepare electronic equipment for processing, refurbishment, recycling, or shipment.
• Sort and organize incoming electronic equipment by product type, shipment category, and designated processing area.
• Identify common IT hardware and electronic components, including laptops, desktops, servers, network phones, docking stations, monitors, cables, wires, and other peripherals.
• Inspect materials and separate products into appropriate boxes, pallets, bins, or shipping containers.
• Lift, move, stage, and load electronic materials safely throughout the facility.
• Accurately record basic product, inventory, and shipment information through data entry and internal tracking systems.
• Assist with maintaining organized workstations and clearly labeled material areas.
• Follow all safety, quality, security, and handling procedures when working with electronic equipment.
• Work independently on assigned tasks while communicating effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Support other warehouse and production duties as needed, including occasional work outside when required.

Job Requirements

• Reliable attendance and the ability to report to work consistently and on time.
• General familiarity with IT hardware or electronics is preferred; candidates should be able to learn the difference between common devices such as desktops, laptops, servers, network phones, docking stations, and peripherals.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, assembly, production, or electronics-handling experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable completing basic data-entry tasks and accurately documenting materials.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Steel-toe boots required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work outside when needed.
