Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Technician to support Miami facilities. The role involves troubleshooting, component replacement, wiring, and testing of security systems.

You will install CCTV/IP cameras, access control, and intrusion panels per the IDP, performing function tests and diagnostics. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in security systems maintenance, strong hands-on skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 5+ years of experience or high school diploma/GED with equivalent training and experience.
• Four years of practical experience with electronic security systems maintenance and installation.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, replace components and wiring; repair electronic equipment and take test readings.
• Perform cabling and infrastructure installation including EMT conduit, cable trays, cables and fiber optics.
• Install CCTV IP cameras, access control and intrusion detection panels per Installation Design Plan (IDP).
• Conduct function tests and analysis on installed systems and diagnose malfunctions.
