Convergint is looking for a full-time Banking Service Technician to join our culture. In this role, you will service and support existing customers by responding to service calls, carrying out Customer Support Programs and small projects. What You\'ll Do with Our Training and Your Experience

- Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of non-routine systems and equipment for drive-up, locksmith, and electronic projects, ATM/TCR. Systems include drive-up equipment (including remote drive-up), deal drawers, and audio/video equipment related to drive-up banking. Repair or replace damaged components of remote units.
- May work on larger projects with greater complexity as needed.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace all components of remote, audio, and video equipment. Install, configure and support network systems and equipment for assigned projects. Perform preventative maintenance as needed. Mentor less experienced staff using technical knowledge and experience.
- Handle moderately complex installations for remote units such as alert systems. Install new units with final connections, testing, and training.
- Respond to moderately complex customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency/after-hours service calls in a timely manner. Work assignments are varied and may require originality and ingenuity.
- Identify potential project challenges, communicate with the appropriate parties, and assist in developing strategies to minimize deviations from estimated costs and deadlines.
- Inspect completed work for conformance with specifications and applicable manufacturers\' specifications. Refer the most complex issues to higher levels.
- Estimate cost, time, and materials for replacement equipment.
- Clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate, and service equipment used in the performance of duties.
- Perform work in accordance with state/local regulations and company health and safety policies. Use strong troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software systems.
- Act as the customer\'s best service provider at all times, ensuring Convergint is the first choice for service.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to improve operations. May advise management on customer satisfaction, product performance, installation techniques, and product improvements.
- Stay up to date with company policies and present a professional image of Convergint in appearance and behavior.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You\'ll Need
- Strong knowledge of drive-up, locking and electronic systems specific to the banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) connected to remote systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Customer focus – maintaining awareness of and meeting customer needs and wants.
- Advanced communication skills, both oral and written.
- Adaptability – ability to respond effectively to changes in situation or information.

Requirements
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: 3–5 years in locksmithing, drive-up and electronic systems, ATM/TCR
- 3 years Banking Specialist experience within a commercial, industrial, or facilities operation setting
Preferred Experience (not required):
- 3 years in one or more of the following industries: security, electronic, banking equipment
Pay range: $38-45 per hour USD
