Responsibilities

• Prepare screens, conductive inks, substrates, and equipment; verify ink identity and condition, prepare materials, and set up the press for accurate registration and coverage.
• Operate screen-printing equipment and monitor runs for registration, line definition, coverage, and print quality; adjust as needed and escalate issues.
• Set up ovens with correct cure profiles and process settings.
• Perform lamination tasks, align layers, operate laminating equipment, and inspect bonds and surfaces.
• Assemble printed or laminated components into finished products and test wire harnesses.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks, record readings, and report defects.
• Maintain traceable records for ink, material lots, process settings, and inspection results.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical-handling practices.

The role includes printer setup, ink mixing, and trouble shooting. Additional duties will include assembly, testing, packaging, equipment maintenance, inventory control, material handling, and participating in production meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare screens, conductive inks, substrates, and equipment; verify ink identity and condition, prepare materials as instructed, and set up the press for accurate registration, coverage, and deposit consistency.
• Operate electronic screen-printing equipment and monitor runs for registration, line definition, coverage, and print consistency; make approved adjustments and escalate process issues.
• Oven setup for correct cure profiles and process settings;
• Perform lamination tasks, including preparing materials, aligning layers, operating laminating equipment, and checking finished bonds and surfaces.
• Assemble printed or laminated components into finished products, assemble wire harnesses and test.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks, including electrical resistance measurements; compare results with approved acceptance criteria, record readings, identify defects, and hold or report nonconforming items.
• Maintain traceable records for ink and material lots, process settings, cure conditions, production counts, and inspection or electrical test results.
• Clean and maintain screens, tools, and work areas; complete routine equipment care and notify a supervisor about maintenance needs.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, equipment instructions, ink safety data sheets, ventilation requirements, and specified personal protective equipment and chemical-handling practices.
• Review work orders, artwork, specifications, and production priorities; confirm materials and job details before starting a run.

Qualifications

• Electronics manufacturing, lamination, or assembly is helpful; training will be provided to a qualified candidate.
• Ability to read work orders, follow written and verbal instructions, and use basic measuring tools with attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance, steady work pace, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently and cooperatively on a production team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with measurement tools such as a multimeter or resistance meter, production records, and quality checks are an advantage.

Work conditions

Work is performed in a production environment and may involve standing for long periods, repetitive hand tasks, handling substrates and chemicals, and exposure to typical shop noise, conductive inks, curing equipment, adhesives, or cleaning products. The employee must follow applicable ventilation, handling, and PPE requirements and perform essential duties.
