Training lasts 10 weeks of Basic Training followed by 25 weeks of specialized training; you earn a regular paycheck and qualify for tuition assistance during service.

Qualifications

• Interest in mathematics, solving problems, and electronic equipment repair.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Test instruments, navigational controls, and simulators.
• Read technical diagrams and manuals; replace parts.
• Ensure quality control; troubleshoot and inspect equipment.
• Advanced roles may supervise and train other Soldiers.
