Job summary

You will work with the Service Repair Manager to evaluate equipment performance, identify failure causes, and determine warranty status while maintaining a clean, safe lab and following established procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of AC power electronics experience or 1–2 years with an associate/bachelor's degree.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electronic equipment.
• Working knowledge of calibration for power, medical and battery systems.
• Working knowledge of inventory management and material control.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities in a busy repair lab.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronics to board/component level using schematics and specifications.
• Complete repairs, calibrations, and testing within an 8–10 day repair goal.
• Recreate customer setups to investigate issues and verify operation.
• Apply AC power theory to diagnose power testing instruments.
• Perform instrument calibrations using established methods.
• Support parts inventory, material planning, and daily repair operations.
• Track repair performance and help improve turnaround times and quality.
• Follow up on technical issues and communicate findings with the service team.
• Maintain a clean, organized lab and follow safety procedures.

Its equipment supports applications across aerospace, automotive, battery, renewable energy, medical, and other industries. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, calibrate, and test electronic instruments, including AC power sources, DC power supplies, and electronic loads. You will work with the Service Repair Manager to evaluate equipment performance, identify the cause of failures, and determine warranty status.

• Troubleshoot electronic instruments to the board or component level using schematics, equipment specifications, and electrical principles.

• Working knowledge of inventory management and material control.


• Ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines in a busy repair lab.


• Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
