Quantum Design in San Diego, CA, is hiring an Electronic Modular Test Technician to perform diagnostics and repairs on electronic systems. This role requires two years of experience in troubleshooting electrical systems and a solid understanding of schematics.
The technician will mentor junior staff, perform testing with modern equipment, and work in a collaborative environment. Regular hours are M-F, 5AM – 1:30PM. Hourly salary ranges from $22.00 to $26.00.

As Electronic Modular Test Technician, you will perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of complex analog and digital electronic systems, requiring strong technical expertise and attention to detail. In this position, you will be responsible for interpreting schematics, configuring and executing AC/DC test setups, and operating precision test equipment. The Electronic Modular Test Technician will perform assembly and rework tasks to ensure that safety measures are met. This role also involves mentoring junior technicians, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely with engineers to drive root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and resolution of complex test challenges in a highly collaborative environment.
