Job summary

STI is seeking an Electronic Health Records/Health IT Account System Administrator to join our Richmond, VA team on-site for a 12+ month engagement. The role requires in-person interviews and an on-site work pattern with four days on site and one telework day.

The ideal candidate will manage EHR-related IT risk, oversee AD and access control, and support diverse systems including DEXIS, Docusign, and SharePoint. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and administration.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in a complex IT environment.
• Familiarity with identity and access management and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify IT risk factors for EHR application security and related infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Receive and transfer inventory; maintain accurate records.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly and upgrade admin tools.
• Provide Tier III support and troubleshooting for multiple constituencies.
• Coordinate and communicate changes with impacted teams.
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning; optimize resources.

About The Role

Must have excellent organization and planning skills, and an understanding of the utilization of technology in the business processes for the Electronic Health Records(EHR) program. The ideal candidate will have experience in a recognized Electronic Health Record System.

DAY TO DAY

Identify and quantify IT risk factors for EHR application security and related infrastructure. Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Permission, PC refresh and software installations, inventory and software management utilizing Asset Panda, manage user accounts, receive and transfer inventory to maintain accurate records. The ability to communicate effectively both in oral and written forms is essential. Working knowledge and experience with Keystone Edge, Microsoft OS, MS Office, DocuSign, Panda, VITA Remote tools, DEXIS, Adobe, Teams/SharePoint, VPN access, and inventory operations. Create, change, and delete user accounts per request. Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. Diagnose and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary. Upgrade and configure system software that supports GIS infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project or operational needs. Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures. Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
