Job summary

Arrow International is seeking a remote-based technical support specialist to diagnose and resolve PC and electronic hardware/software issues. You will log calls in Salesforce, provide remote and on-site support with substantial travel, and escalate complex cases as needed.

You will train distributors and end users on proper operation of Arrow equipment. The role requires an Associate degree in computer tech or equivalent experience, 3+ years in electronics/PC tech, and strong knowledge of SQL,

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Technologies or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic and PC technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve PC/electronic hardware and software issues to defined performance standards.
  • Record service calls and details in Salesforce.
  • Provide remote and on-site support with frequent overnight travel (up to 75%).
  • Escalate tier 2/3 cases promptly and assist management as needed.
  • Configure Arrow equipment and deliver end-user and distributor trainings.
  • Coordinate parts, RMAs, and technical guidance with distributors.
  • Work from a home office with reliable internet; handle other duties as assigned.

Join a growth-minded team that rewards results with profit-sharing, 401(k) matching, strong benefits, and generous PTO (plus a bonus week every July).Why This Role MattersKeep critical gaming systems online for community venues worldwide.Deliver fast, first-visit fixes that delight customers and reduce downtime.Train distributors and end users so they’re confident from day one.What You’ll DoTroubleshoot and resolve PC/electronic hardware and software issues to defined performance standards.Record service calls and all relevant details in Salesforce.Provide remote phone support when you’re not traveling; perform on-site installs and support with frequent overnight trips (travel can exceed 75%).Escalate tier 2/3 cases to the support specialist; timely escalation to management when appropriate.Partner with distributors on parts ordering, RMAs, and technical guidance.Configure and program Arrow equipment; deliver end-user and distributor training.Recommend and execute solutions quickly, then follow up to confirm success and satisfaction.Operate effectively from a home office with reliable high-speed DSL or cable internet.Handle other duties as assigned by management.What You Need to SucceedAssociate degree in Computer Technologies or comparable experience.3+ years of experience or formal training in electronic and PC technologies.Working knowledge of SQL, Windows/Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking.Can read schematics and technical manuals; strong analytical problem-solver.PC, mechanical, and electrical aptitude.Excellent communication, customer service, and phone skills.Self-motivated and organized; able to manage time and call load independently.Comfortable with MS Office and other software; proprietary software exposure is a plus.Experience supporting PC applications.Bonus PointsPrevious field support work.Experience supporting electronic gaming devices; bingo gaming background.Networking certifications with 2+ years of hands-on network technologies experience.Working EnvironmentTravel is required and can exceed 75%; expect overnight travel.Overtime and standby as needed.On-site settings include bingo halls, bars, tribal reservations, and casinos.Physical tasks: run cables, lift heavy devices, and climb ladders.Availability for any shift and weekend work as needed.Legal & AccessibilityEqual Opportunity StatementArrow International is an equal opportunity employer.
