Role Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Electronic Design Engineer II to join our Infotainment Hardware team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge electronic modules for our next-generation in-vehicle infotainment and connectivity systems. You will play a key part in bringing innovative features and seamless user experiences to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for infotainment hardware modules, including schematic capture and component selection.

• Perform circuit simulations and analyses to ensure design integrity and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and manufacturing, to define system requirements and ensure successful integration.

• Develop and execute test plans for design validation, including functional, electrical, and environmental testing.

• Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues at the board and system level.

• Generate comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test reports, and manufacturing instructions.

• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.

• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.

• Proficiency with schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, PADS).

• Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).

• Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, etc.).

• Familiarity with communication protocols such as PCIe, CAN, Ethernet, USB, I2C, SPI.

• Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity principles.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced development cycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python for test equipment automation and data analysis.

• Skilled in tuning RF circuits for optimal performance, utilizing both simulation data and real-world testing to achieve desired specifications and improve signal quality

• Experience designing cellular or WiFi/Bluetooth products.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for Northern California Based Candidates: $105,400 - $131,300 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
