Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $80.00/hr

The most prominent health insurer in the Mid-Atlantic is seeking a EDI Consultant to support their claims migration. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless movement of healthcare data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EDI implementations, particulary with Edifecs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize EDI processes to ensure efficient data exchange within health insurance systems.
• Lead the implementation of EDI solutions, focusing on Edifecs.
• Provide technical expertise and hands-on support for EDI-related projects and initiatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of healthcare data, including enrollment and provider networks.
• Conduct thorough analysis of EDI processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong healthcare background with knowledge and experience with Facets capabilities and functions for membership, claims, finance and provider related functions.
• 5+ years of experine with Edifecs
• 5+ years of experience with Facets
• Proven experience in EDI operations and development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical issues.
• Knowledge of core administrative systems, software applications, database management systems, and other business related technologies preferred
