Electronic Control Technician – Entry Level

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain control instrumentation systems for beet and sugar processing operations.
• Install and program control networks, including DeltaV and RSIII distributive control software and associated hardware.
• Optimize control loop performance to ensure efficient operation of processing systems.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to gain detailed understanding of operating parameters and to ensure maintenance interventions are appropriate and effective.
• Advise operations on process adjustments so that operating practices can be updated accordingly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2‑year technical degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in instrument shop or electronic maintenance across the required instrumentation fields.
• Ability to pass skills & aptitude tests and a safety screening.
• Computer literate with strong keyboarding skills and proficiency in a Windows operating environment and word‑processing software.
• Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Compensation

$36.13–$39.74 per hour.
