Job summary

Millbury Federal Credit Union in Millbury, MA is seeking an Electronic Banking Specialist to support daily operations of the Electronic Banking Department.

You will handle online banking, wires, ACH, ATM/Debit, and merchant services while assisting members and staff. This is an in-person, full-time role focusing on accuracy, teamwork, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support to members, staff, and other personnel regarding Electronic Banking and respond promptly to inquiries.

• Process and maintain wire transfers, foreign currency, ACH, and other electronic banking functions.
• Maintain and order ATM/Debit cards, monitor fraud, and process chargebacks.
• Review daily reports for quality control and compliance with BSA/OFAC.

Electronic Banking Specialist

Location: 50 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527

Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm (In-person)

Position Summary: Reports to the Deposit Operations Manager & Officer or assignee. The Electronic Banking Specialist performs a variety of financial and non-financial maintenance tasks, as well as a variety of tasks related to the daily operations of the Electronic Banking Department, including, but not limited to, online banking, wires, ACH, ATM / Debit Card, and merchant services. Additionally, the incumbent cross trains to be proficient in all Electronic Banking daily operations, rotates and works all operational areas of the department, and provides support for members and bank staff regarding electronic products and services

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide service and support to external members, internal bank staff, and other personnel regarding Electronic Banking. Ensure prompt and courteous response to all inquiries.
• Work closely with branches to maintain member records.
• Coordinate the workflow with other departments, as needed.
• Process and maintain wire transfers, foreign currency orders, ACH, returned items, sweep accounts, savings transfer management, internet banking issues, bill payment issues, and other electronic banking functions.
• Maintain and order ATM and Debit cards, monitors fraud, and processes chargebacks.
• Print daily notices.
• Review daily reports for quality control and perform any necessary filing.
• Ensure all work is processed in compliance with BSA and OFAC.
• Has thorough knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues for all services performed.
• Maintain confidentiality of member account information.
• Follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests.
• Is proficient in the following programs / tools necessary for operation:
  • STARS (Bankers Bank Northeast) – Wires and Foreign Currency
  • RIM – Check Returned Item Maintenance
  • Fedline Advantage – Wire transfers
  • Fiserv Access Manager – Retail Internet Banking
  • PartnerCare – CheckFree Bill Pay
  • Transfer Management System (TMS) – Internal Transfers

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills / interpersonal skills / customer service skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and time-management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• General understanding of math, computers, and Microsoft Office applications.
