Job summary

TCOM is seeking an assembler to support mechanical, electronic, or cable disciplines, including hand soldering surface mount components. You will perform tasks with high attention to quality, stay current on IPC 620/610 training, and adapt to daily priorities while communicating well with teammates and leadership.

Previous electronics experience is preferred but not required. You will contribute to a fast-paced team, using hand tools, soldering irons, and measurement equipment to read blueprints

• Simple math skills are needed.
• Team player who is self-motivated and works with minimal supervision.
• Able to learn use of hand tools, soldering irons, press equipment, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Basic computer skills are necessary and communication with team/leadership is important.

Responsibilities

• Assemble using mechanical, electronic, or cable disciplines or hand-solder surface mount components.
• Perform work with high quality and meet labor standards.
• Stay current on IPC 620 and IPC 610 training.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.

Job description

Essential Functions

• Able to perform the essential functions of two disciplines of Assembler (Mechanical, Electronic, or Cable) or possess skill to hand solder surface mount components.
• Perform work with high quality.
• Current on all training associated with alternate discipline (IPC 620, IPC 610).
• Be able to meet or exceed allotted labor standards.
• Be able to be flexible in daily tasks and do so with great attitude.
• Be able to communicate at a high level with new people.

Education and Experience

• Previous electronics experience is preferred, but not required.
