iWorx Systems designs and produces electronic instrumentation systems for life-science education and research in Dover, NH. We seek a detail-oriented Electronic Assembler to join the production team, performing mechanical and electrical assembly, inspection and documentation to build precision systems.

Candidate should have basic soldering experience; training is provided. The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and careful documentation to meet quality standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant technical training or equivalent experience will be considered.
• Basic soldering experience is necessary; soldering training is provided for candidates who are willing to learn and grow their skill set.
• Detail-oriented with good communication, organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembly & Wiring: Assemble mechanical components and wire electro-mechanical systems according to detailed instructions and technical drawings.
• Soldering: Solder wires, terminals, and electrical connections in compliance with established procedures and quality specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate manufacturing records, including production, inspection, and testing logs, to ensure quality compliance.

About the Role

iWorx Systems designs and produces electronic instrumentation systems for life-science education and research. Products include sensors, transducers, amplifiers, filters, electrical stimulators, and data-acquisition recorders. We are seeking a highly motivated Electronic Assembler to join our production team in Dover, NH. In this role, you will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, inspection, and documentation to build precision systems.

We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who thrives both independently and in a team environment, and has good communication, organization, and time-management skills. While basic soldering experience is necessary, soldering training is provided for candidates who are willing to learn and grow their skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly & Wiring: Assemble mechanical components and wire electro-mechanical systems according to detailed instructions and technical drawings.


• Soldering: Solder wires, terminals, and electrical connections in compliance with established procedures and quality specifications.


• Documentation: Maintain accurate manufacturing records, including production, inspection, and testing logs, to ensure full quality compliance before moving products to the next stage.

Technical Skills

• Basic soldering experience and a strong willingness to learn advanced techniques.


• Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly instructions.


• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment safely.


• Experience with electrical wiring for manufacturing applications is a plus.


• Familiarity with general manufacturing, assembly processes, and basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills (Big Plus, Not Required)

• Fine pitch soldering experience


• Surface Mount Technology (SMT) / component-level soldering


• Ability to read instructions and identify standard SMT components


• PCB rework skills utilizing rework tools and microscopes
