An established industry player seeks a dedicated ND Technologist I to join their night shift team. This role involves conducting and analyzing critical diagnostic tests, including EEGs and nerve conduction studies, to provide exceptional patient care. This position is a .7 FTE, night shift, located at our 200 University St. Paul campus. The hours for this position are: 10pm-5:30 am, Mon-Thur. On call requirement - once every 10 weeks for weekends. *Willing to consider Monitoring Tech (unregistered) with a minimum of 6-months experience.
The ND Technologist I is an allied health professional who has completed at least one year of ND education from an Accredited Program and one or more years of clinical experience in at least one ND procedure. Performs routine diagnostic testing procedures independently and complex procedures under the direction of a physician. Testing studies include electroencephalograms (EEG), routine and sleep-deprived; video EEGs (LTM), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCV), and intra-operative monitoring (IOM).
Specific duties are determined by the work setting or patient population served; however, in all positions, serving patients with challenging and complex conditions requires a concentration of specialized staff able to work in highly coordinated teams. We organize care around each patient’s condition which requires staff at multiple levels and across many departments to exhibit exceptional teamwork qualities including communicating efficiently and effectively and adopting the behaviors required for high functioning integrated teams.
Compensation & Benefits Information
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $31.11 to $46.67, with a median wage of $38.89. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.
