Qualifications

Summary:

The Electroneurodiagnostic Tech III is accountable for performing quality electroneurodiagnostic procedures through the application of advanced clinical and technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care and in accordance with organization and department policy and procedures. This position is accountable for providing direct patient care and maintaining expertise for all ages spanning from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • A graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Technology Program or equivalent formal training is preferred.

  • Three to five years of experience as an EEG technologist is required.

Licensure & Certification:

  • Registration in EEG by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists is required.

  • Basic Life Support certification is required.

  • Certification in Long-Term Monitoring required.
