Job summary

Employee Workplace in Natick, MA is seeking an Electron Beam Welder Lang Technician to join its aerospace and precision manufacturing team. You will set up, operate, and monitor precision welding equipment across EBW, laser, orbital, and TIG processes, reading blueprints and ensuring leak-tight assemblies.

The role requires 2+ years of welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read drawings with tight tolerances; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electron beam, laser, orbital, or precision welding.
• Experience reading blueprints and working to tight tolerances.
• TIG welding experience highly preferred.
• Aerospace, defense, medical device, or high-precision manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor precision welding equipment.
• Perform high-quality welds on complex metal components and tubing assemblies.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Build and utilize fixtures, tooling, and weld setups.
• Prepare and inspect parts to ensure quality and leak-tight connections.
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
