Advantage Technical is seeking an Electron Beam Welder Lang Technician in Natick, MA. The role involves setting up and operating precision welding equipment to produce high-quality welds on complex components, with a focus on leak-tight connections and adherence to tight tolerances.

Candidates should have 2+ years in electron beam, laser, orbital, or precision welding, reading blueprints, and experience with TIG welding is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electron beam, laser, orbital, or precision welding.
• Experience reading blueprints and working to tight tolerances.
• TIG welding experience highly preferred.
• Aerospace/defense/medical device/high-precision manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor precision welding equipment.
• Perform high-quality welds on complex metal components and tubing assemblies.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Build and utilize fixtures, tooling, and weld setups.
• Prepare and inspect parts to ensure quality and leak-tight connections.
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
