Join Our Team as an Electron Beam Welder I at AMETEK LMS!

Are you an experienced welder looking for a rewarding career in a clean and organized manufacturing environment? AMETEK LMS is seeking an Electron Beam Welder to join our dynamic production team. Here’s what you can look forward to:

As an Electron Beam Welder I, you will:

  • Follow instructions contained in the work order and examine the final product to confirm completion, according to specification.
  • Sets up and operates electron beam welding machine to join metal pieces according to specifications, applying knowledge of electron-beam welding.
  • Review the associated weld schedule to determine equipment settings and adjusts controls to set voltage, fixture speed, circle size, circle frequency and slope.
  • Inspects work piece for width of weld, cracks, holes, inclusions and undercut using microscope.

Electron Beam Position Requirements

  • 0-2 years of Electron Beam Welding experience
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Ability to use measurement tools
  • ISO9001 procedures and protocols
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints

Salary Range and Benefits:

The hourly pay range will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, AMETEK provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee assistance program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.

Compensation

Employee Type: Hourly

Salary Minimum: $55,000

Salary Maximum: $60,000

Incentive: No
