We are seeking an Electron Beam Welder who understands the concept of utilizing heat from a high-velocity electron beam to form a weld. This is perfect for an individual looking for a career in the trades from the ground up, as this would be an entry-level position. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, open to working in a machine shop environment, and has a curious nature. We are willing to train the right person!

Responsibilities Include:

• Utilize heat from a high-velocity electron beam to form welds using various welding and fabrication methods in the production of our equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble components using blueprints, operating sheets, and sketches.
• Manufacture sheet metal guards according to blueprints.
• Perform mechanical assembly of machine tool equipment and lead fabrication.
• Handle sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Conduct leak checks and some lead inspections.
• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma and/or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing, machine shop, or aviation environments is preferred.
