Express Employment Professionals is hiring for an Electro mech Technician in the Otay Mesa area. The role involves interpreting drawings, performing system integration tasks, and supporting engineering in setting up manufacturing processes.

Candidate will troubleshoot equipment, modify systems under supervision, and perform tests on AC/DC components. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for interaction with multiple internal teams.

Qualifications

• General problem solving skills.
• General subject matter expertise for assigner area.
• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.
• General computer skills.
• Knowledge and experience in the use of electronic and mechanical equipment (multimeter, power supplies, oscilloscope, caliper).
• Knowledge in AC, DC theory.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of systems integration equipment and/or process operation involving an application of technical skills.
• Interprets engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Notifies appropriate personnel for changes needed in work instructions or drawings.
• Maintains/revises manufacturing work instruction in electronics instruction and reporting systems.
• Assists Engineering in the set up manufacturing processes.
• Seeks out opportunities for process improvements.
• Troubleshoots manufacturing system and processes issues to root cause.
• Repairs and/or modifies manufacturing systems under the direction of senior specialists and/or engineers.
• May perform preventive maintenance functions on manufacturing equipment.
• Implements and documents basic practical solutions for process improvements.
• Executes experiments under the direction of an engineer or senior specialist.
• Communicates with internal customer include manufacturing support manager, production personnel, coach, operation manager, engineering.
• Normally works under the guidance of a more senior individual.
• Test, and/or “assemble and test” different type of AC,DC components.
