Job summary

REGENT invites you to join a mission-driven team building Seagliders that push the boundaries of coastal mobility. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will assemble, test, and integrate electromechanical systems, wiring, and control surfaces, working across mechanical, electrical, and avionics disciplines in a fast-paced prototyping environment.

You will read schematics, fab harnesses to IPC-like standards, troubleshoot issues, and help scale from prototype to production, contributing to

Qualifications

  • Experience building and supporting electromechanical systems, including actuators, sensors, and wiring.
  • Proficient with mechanical and electrical hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
  • Familiar with aviation/aerospace high-reliability standards (IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620).
  • Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices around high-voltage systems and prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and test electromechanical systems including motors, sensors, and wiring.
  • Fabricate and route harnesses to IPC-like aerospace standards.
  • Troubleshoot system-level issues with engineers.
  • Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Install and calibrate moving systems and ensure proper interfacing.
  • Support testing and validation on bench and in seagliders.
  • Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, avionics, and systems teams.
  • Develop tooling, workspace setup, and safety practices.
