Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking an Electromechanical Technician I in Valley, Nebraska to install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems on a 3rd shift. You will diagnose motors, drives, relays, sensors, and controllers, read schematics, and perform preventive maintenance to keep our critical infrastructure running.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Basic experience or technical training in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with industrial tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read schematics or technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing motors, drives, relays, sensors, and controllers.
• Reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance.

Shift Available

3rd Shift (Sunday-Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.)

Compensation

$32.06/hour ($30.06/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential for 3rd Shift)

Interview process will consist of an online assessment and a hands-on test.
