Job summary

Job description

Ocean Spray is hiring an Electromechanical Technician for a 2-2-3 day‑shift schedule (6:00AM–6:00PM) on a rotating weekend off basis. The role provides engineering support for plant equipment, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering level support for automated and electromechanical equipment.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, I/O, HMI, Ethernet communication equipment, servos, motors, and VFDs.
  • Identify and implement process‑improvement projects related to sustainability, cost savings, quality, or throughput.
  • Document work tasks and parameter changes through CMMS software.
  • Perform engineering assessments of equipment and recommend maintenance, process, and component inventory changes to management.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to identify and pursue training opportunities (controls, KRONES, productivity, throughput).
  • Maintain a proactive, self‑directed approach in a high‑paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing automated and electromechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of control system principles, failure mode analysis, blending and packaging operations, and process control.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&ID, and PFD diagrams.
  • Proficiency with CMMS, SCADA systems, and related software tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative team outlook.
